Wing Trailing Edge ribs

The wing trailing edge ribs were fabricated from .025" 2024T3 material using the same techniques previously outlined. These ribs will located inboard of the flaps, at the fixed trailing edge of the wing.

Here are the formed wing trailing edge ribs, awaiting alodine and primer.

When it came time to flange the smaller lightning holes, I found it easier to make a new flanging tool with a smaller diameter and longer bevel on the nose (Wing jigs and tools).

This is a photograph of the wing cove ribs for the aileron cavity. Pictured are the layout board, the two form blocks, and two of the ribs.

In this photo you can see the notched flanges for the TE Cove ribs.

Here are the completed TE Cove ribs, awaiting alodine and primer.
