This is a photograph of the wing cove ribs for the aileron cavity. Pictured are the layout board, the two form blocks, and two of the ribs.
Here are the formed wing trailing edge ribs, awaiting for primer. When it came time to flange the smaller lightning holes, I found it easier to make a new flanging tool with a smaller diameter and longer bevel on the nose.
The wing trailing edge ribs were fabricated from .025" 2024T3 material using the same techniques previously outlined. These ribs will located inboard of the flaps, at the fixed trailing edge of the wing.
